Carrots are a healthy vegetable that contain numerous essential nutrients important primarily for the eye health. They are rich in vitamin A, B, C and K, beta-carotene, iron, potassium, magnesium, manganese, calcium and phosphorus. Carrots can help you reinforce the immune system beside improving your vision, and can also improve the bowel movement. They are of great help when dealing with colds, coughs, bronchitis or asthma.
Half a kg. of carrots
3-4 spoons of organic honey
Cut the carrots and put them in a pot with water. Boil the mixture until the carrots are soft, then take the pot from the heat and mash them with fork. Don’t throw the water from the carrots – allow it to cool down, add the honey then blend this mixture with the mashed carrots. Keep the syrup in a cold and dark place.
Take 3-4 spoons of the remedy every day, and you will feel the results in only a day or two! Your cough will be eased and the phlegm in the lungs will be eliminated.
