The summer is here … and we are all outside doing something.
However, it also has its negative side – for example the Lyme disease which is an infection spread by the bite of an infected tick.
One mother, Karen McGregor had a bad experience.
She noticed a strange red spots on her son’s skin, who was previously playing in the grass.
As they began to spread throughout the body, she called the doctor!
To warn other mothers, Karen put these photos on internet and warned parents to pay attention to their child skin
The first sign of Lyme disease is a rash, as in the picture.
As the infection spreads, results in headache, fever, muscle aches and fatigue.
Symptoms are flu-like, and therefore you should be very careful and as soon as possible the disease should be detected!
The disease is widespread in the northern hemisphere.
In severe cases, it can result in serious nerve, muscle, and other diseases.
Sometimes it’s invisible, and years can go by before being detected.
If you are bitten by a tick, there is 1, 5 – 6% you’ll become infected with Lyme disease.
